"RAFFLES."
For a few days it looked as thougn Samuel Goldwyn would have to abandon his production :of "Raffles," in which David Niven stars. Mr. Nivsu is on the reserve of a Scottish regiment, and was expecting to be called immediately to the Colours. To Mr. Goldwyn's relief he has received word that the star's role in "Raffles" can be completed before he is called up. The producer has therefore placed the film in production, with Niven and Olivia de Havilland . in the leading roles. "Raffles" is being directed by Sam Wood, from the adaptation by John Balderston.
