IMPORT LICENCES
DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
A reminder is given by the Minister of Customs Cthe KHon. W. Nash) that applications for import licences for the period January-June, 1940, should be lodged by November 30, as notified by him when making his announcement regarding the basis on which licences would be granted for that period.
• It was possible, he said today, that some importers who intended lodging applications might have overlooked the necessity for doing so by the date mentioned and opportunity was accordingly being taken to remind them of the position.
