THE KING'S MESSAGE
REPLY BY LORD GALWAY
His Excellency the Governor-General has sent the following telegram to the King in reply to his Majesty's message on the occasion of the opening of the Exhibition:—
Forty thousand New Zealanders assembled at the opening of the Centennial Exhibition, received with acclamation your Majesty's message of good wishes. New Zealand once again reaffirms her unswerving loyalty to your Majesty, and expresses her determination in these dark days to apply her entire strength in pursuit of the ideals for which the Empire has unsheathed the sword.
