BETTING INCREASE

The weather continued brilliantly fine for the second-day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's Spring Meeting, and as a result there was another large attendance. During the' day the totalisator handled the sum of £48,904 10s (£22,106 10s win and £26,798 place), as against £45,049 10s last year, making a total for the two days to date of £122,180 10s.
