GEN. MIAJA SENTENCED

MADRID, October 27,
The Melilla Court of Responsibilities sentenced General Miaja, former Republican defender of Madrid, who is at present in Mexico, to fifteen years' exile, the loss of his political rights, and confiscation of his property. Senora Miaja was fined 1,000,000 pesetas (about £25,000).
