Hallowe'en Revels are Near
Elfin Folk:— Out with your scarlet-heeled, curly-toed slippers and your, broomsticks that soar to the stars, for Hallowe'en, the night when all fairy and witchery frolics are held, the very last night of October, is very near. The bright-eyed little witch in the picture below called at the Ring today to remind us.about it. How or whence she came is a mystery even the Letterbox Elf cannot solve, but we're certain tliat one of our pixie artists knows the secret. You'll love to paint the little witch ivith scarlet and night blue and-glowing orange for the wicked lantern-faces. It will make a bright cover picture for Christmas scrapbooks. (Are.you making one?) . Wouldn't it be fun to have a Hallowe'en party? A splendid idea for raising funds to buy seeds for your Junior Red Cross gardens if you held it next Saturday afternoon and invited all your school friends. Just in case you do take it into your pixie' heads to hold^ a party, I have given Printer Man some ideas for special Hallowe'en games, told to me by the Little Witch. Letterbox, Elf and. I wish you the greatest fun and merriment. And if your broomstick does carry you off to the stars, do remember to be back in time -.for next Saturday's Ring! FAIRIEL.
