IBy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.i (Received October 28, 1 p.m.) LONDON, October 27. The New Zealand Minister of Education (the Hon. Peter Fraser. and the members of his party arrived at a Channel port and were met by - the High Commissioner for New Zealand (Mr. W. J. Jordan). Mr. Fraser faced a battery of cameras at Victoria Station at the end of his historic air dash, resulting in his arrival 16 days after his departure. . The trip would have taken 11 days if it had not been considered wise to proceed overland from Marseilles. The Dominions Secretary (Mr. Anthony Edett) warmly greeted Mr. Fraser and those present on the platform included the Duk* of Devonshire, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Dominion Affairs, and Rear-Admiral Bromley, of the Dominions Office. The party was remarkably fresh, despite its hard travelling. Mr. Fraser was full of praise for the comfort of the Tasman crossing. He paid a tribute to the efficiency of the handling of the Aotearoa b„ Captain Burgess and his crew. Mr. Fraser said he was unable at present to comment on his mission in detail. The discussions would be most important for New Zealand, but he awaited an indication from the British Government of the exact nature of the subjects for review. "Even after this -brief acquaintance of Britain at war," he said, "I can't help being impressed by the calm bearing of the people." Within five minutes of their arrival at their hotel; the party was fitted with gas masks. ' Mr. Fraser anticipates that "he will spend three weeks Xn- London. j
