SILVERSTREAM COLLEGE BOXING

There was a large attendance at the annual boxing tournament of St. Patrick's College, Silverstream, last night. The standard generally was high and some fine contests were witnessed. The medal for the most scientific boxer went to J Nicholson. P. Barry won ..the McEvedy Cup for the most improved boy, and M Mcnolson was awarded a medal for being the gamest loser The tournament was controlled by officials of the Wellington Boxing Association.
