MIDLAND COUNTIES

The monthly meeting and social of the Birmingham and Midland Counties Association was held on Tuesday evening last. Mr. J. H. Whittaker presided over a fair attendance of members, and welcomed several visitors from the "Home" districts who attended for the first time. Complimentary references were made to the lecture and film evening held recently in connection with the centenary of the birth of George Cadbury. An excellent programme of vocal music and dancing items was provided by Misses Ena Rapley and Freda Bartlett, and Messrs. W. Challis and H. Phipps. Miss Shaw was the accompanist. Supper concluded a pleasant I evening.
