SATURDAY'S WRESTLING.
Earl McCready, the British Empire professional wrestling champion, arrived in Wellington today-and commenced the final stages, of his training for his title bout with "Lofty" Blomfield at the Town Hall on Saturday night. McCready is working . principally with Jim Dryden, the Dominion amateur champion, whose weight of 17st 41b brings him right up to the Canadian's physical class. The public is invited to. attend a training session at Koolman's gymnasium in Dixdn Street tonight at 8 o'clock when other local amateurs will help to keep McCready busily occupied. In their previous match at Auckland both McCready«and Blomfield were in top form and Blomfield is credited with giving a really outstanding display. This time he is confident of : having the extra dash of stamina that he lacked in the concluding stages at Auckland. Early arrivals will be entertained by a special' supporting programme which will include a "semi-professional" bout between G. McDonald and B. Monastra, and the appearance of several Dominion amateur champions. Early reservations are recommended.
