SALVATION ARMY
The Salvation Army, which has been offering up intercessions for the" nation each Sunday since the war began, will observe October 1 as a special day of prayer.
Advice has been received that Dr. Dorothea Norman Jones, M.8., Ch.B. (M.A.. Cantab), formerly of Wellington, has successfully completed her examinations for the Diploma of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicines. She has been appointed to the London County Council Hospital at Homer* ton, North-east London.
