LONDON, This Day.
The Mayor of Warsaw, in reply, thanked the British people for the message, and the assurance that they would fight together the common enemy. He declared that the bombardment of Warsaw and the murder of womer: and children was being carried out mercilessly. ( "When will the effective help of Britain and France come to relieve us from this terrible situation?" he asked. "We are waiting for it."
