The Norwegian Foreign Minister, Professor Koht. said at the conference of Ministers of the northern countries that he was confident that the neutrality of the Nordic peoples would be respected. He added that it was more difficult to maintain economic neutrality.

All the Ministers sharply contested the German implication that Britain threatened Scandinavian neutrality.
