POLES PRESSED INTO
SERVICE

NEW YORK. September 19
A correspondent of the Associated Press of America at Cracow states that pro-German Polish troops are being dispatched to the western front. Three lorry-loads of men clad in Polish uniforms said that they had been unwillingly drafted into the Polish army, from whom the German^ captured them. They were released on their volunteering for thp German army.

RUMANIA

Ten thousand Polish officers and men have so far reached Rumania. They have been disarmed and interned.
