An assurance that it woi^ld cooperate with the Government in any steps taken in the defence of the Dominion and the Empire, was given at the last meeting of the Levin Borough Council.
The Mayor (Mr. P. W. Goldsmith) said that the world should know that the Empire was united and determined to fight for personal liberty,
