Mrs. Howard.Tripp, Timaru, who has been visiting England, is expected to return' home on Saturday.
Miss A. Kuichinson, King's Ciescant, Lower Hutt, returned this week from Singapore and the South Pacific Islands.
Mrs. Welton Hogg, Lower Hutt, is visiting Palmerston North for the golf championships.
Miss Ruby Warren has returned to Palmerstr.r North from Sydney and Canberra., ■ Miss H. Akers, who accompanied her, is spending several days in Wellington.
Miss Joan Gibbons, Lower Hutt, who is visiting Hawke's Bay, will return home this week.
Miss P. Ward, Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington.
Miss M. Whit.combe has returned^ to Wellington from a visit to the Pacific Islands and Auckland.
Miss Pearl Roberts has left Wellington for Melbourne via Sydney.
Mrs. A. R. Bunny, Masterton, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. McMinn, Levin, has returned home.
Miss E. O'Donnell, Bunnythprpe, who has returned after three months in Sydney, is staying in Wellington before returning to the Manawatu.
Mrs. R. O. Chesney, Waterloo. Road, Lower Hutt, and Miss Mary Chesney have returned from Hawke's Bay.
Mrs. D. Ogilvy, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. M. R. Johnstone, Upper Plain, Masterton.
Mrs. Scales, Masterton, is a visitor to Wellington, and is staying at the Empire Hotel.
Mrs. Stevens (Waimate) and Mrs. F. 'Sferter (Palmerston' North) are among the guests at the Grand Hotel.
Miss E. Bowling (Oamaru) and Mesdames W. E. Hunt (Invercargill), A. W. James (Oamaru), E. H. Duncan (Hunterville), and A. S. Wilder (WaiPjUkurau) are guests at the Royal Oak Hotel.
Mrs. E. I. Shand, Mrs. W. Booth (Christchurch), Miss P. Ward (Palmerston North), and Miss J. Harrowell (Auckland) are guests at the Midland Hotel.
Mrs. M. Mostal, Mrs. M. Ducken (Durban), Mrs. Davis (Auckland), Mrs. G. Gould, Mrs. J. R. McKenzie, Miss J. R. Behringer (Christchurch), Mrs. Small (Napier), Mrs. Young (Hawera), and Mrs. H. Searle (Wanganui) are ! staying at the Hotel' Waterloo.
