Heppleston caught up to K. Brooker and they ran together for some distance, when Brooker dropped back, Heppleston closing up on D. Peters, who was running about ten yards behind B. Wills, and this order was maihta.ned, the three finishing within..five seconds of one another. Results:—o. Anderson^ 22min 20sec, 1; K. Parry, 22min 36sec, 2. Fastest time: G. Heppleston, 21miri 50sec. The run was the last for the 1930 season. PRESBYTERIAN .CLUB. The Presbyterian Club held its annual field day at Island Bay on Saturday. There were four teams present, the captains being P. ■Norton. V. McConchie, M.• ■P'umfi-t>■• and A. Congalton. The events contested were 100 yards, 300 yards, wheelbarrow race, hop, step, and jump, cock-fighting,' ball feisty, and a mile relay. All were held on .the beach, with the exception of the., last eyen. The contest waa won by 31. Pumfrey's . te,am {Dockery, Morris, Lowman, Couchman, Ince, Willoughby), with 16% points. A.
