WAIPUKURAU, September 5,
At a representative meeting of farmers and, business men in Central Hawke's Bay an organisation., known as the Central Hawke's Bay Service Committee, was set up to arrange the supervision of properties and businesses where owners were called to national service. Representations for recognition by the Government will be made for the committee through the member for the district. The organisation is believed to be- the first of its kind in the Dominion.
