CHANGES OF NAME
REGULATIONS ISSUED
Under the Change of Name Emergency Regulations, which have been passed, no person shall, without the prior consent of the Minister of Internal Affairs, change his name. Exceptions are made in £he following cases:—(l) The change of name of any woman oh matrimony; (2) any new surname authorised by Royal licence; (3) the new name given to a child on adoption; (4) change of name on entry into a religious order; (5) a new Christian name upon, confirmation.
