NEW YORK, September 3. The Tokio correspondent; of the United Press of America says the newspaper "Asahi Shimbun" asserts} that Japan ,will remain neutral in the European war because Germany; signed the pact with the Soviet. Another message from Tokio say» : the "Nichi Nichi Shimbun" state* that Japan will remain strictly,neu> Iral without making a formal declaration.
