The Philfiot. ■ Cup for. annual competition between Wesley hockey clubs In New Zealand was won this year by Jlasteilon. who defeated-Wel-lington, the holders, by 2 uoals to 1, at Karori Park, on Saturday. All the scoring; was 'lone in Uiß second half, one of the Mastcrton sosls .being netted from a penalty-hull.v. Bell arid Harrison scored for Master-ton, .and Sowdon scored for Wellington. The umpire was Mr. H. D. Kelly. The cup was presented to the winners-after the grime by Mr. G. S.'Chiaholm.
