HAND TORN OFF
GIRL'S CONDITION SERIOUS
A Maori girl, Sissie Naki, aged six, had a hand severed at Te Uku, near Hamilton, yesterday, states today's "New Zealand Herald." She caught her arm in the pulley of a milking machine on Mr. H. L. Sweetman's farm, and the hand was torn off before the machine could be stopped. The child was admitted to the Waikato Hospital. Her condition is serious.
