New indoor (left) and outdoor uniforms which have been adopted by the St. John Ambulance Brigade in New Zealand. The materials for costumes, stockings, and gloves are grey, and the cape is lined with scarlet. The short sleeves on the indoor uniform, trimmed with white, have been adopted for hospital and home nursing work. The indoor cap~is known as the "Lambie" nursing cap. The outdoor hat, which is black, is after the style of the Canadian model. The black arm badges have now given place to the much smarter St. John Ambulance Brigade badge.
