On behalf of the Commissioner of T„xes, application was made in the Supreme Court at Auckland yesterday, states a Press Association .telegram, that Edward Valentine Owen company manager, Howick, be adjudicated bankrupt for non-payment of taxes. There ...was no -appearance of the judgment debtor.-and Mr.'Justice Fair made the order accordingly.
