FLYGER CUP GAME
'The management committee of the "Vvellington Football Association last night received, notification from the Auckland Football Association that it desired to cancel the Flyger Cup fixture, which had been made for Septlmber 2, at: Wellington. The reasons gjven were the difficulty likely to arise in obtaining billets for boys in Wellington and the proposal that the Auckl&nders should arrive in Wellington ojily on the Saturday morning. A previous challenge from South Auckland would- be fulfilled at an early date, and if Auckland succeeded other arrangements might be made to play Wellington.
