PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

Tomorrow's Programme.

When the Hardys go wild west in the wide open spaces, Judge Hardy faces the serious problem of keeping his energetic family properly corraled, but with his usual wisdom and understanding he manages to settle Andy's troubles, prevents Marian from making a hasty marriage, and solves the perplexing legal difficulties of an old sweetheart in "Out West With the Hardys," which opens tomorrow at the Paramount Theatre. This, the fifth of the Hardy pictures, follows them through another action-filled episode of their colourful doings, replete with hilarious comedy, human, heart-warm-ing pathos, trials, and tribulations. It brings new laurels to the favourites motion picture fans have come to know and to love, Lewis Stone as the Judge, Mickey Rooney as Andy, Cecilia Parker as Marian, Fay Holden as Mrs. Hardy, Sara Haden as Aunt Milly, Ann Rutherford as Andy's girl friend, Polly, and Don Castle as Dennis Hunt, Marian's Carvel boy friend. A new Gene Autry musical western, "Rootin' Tootin' Rhythm," will be the associate film. Gene needs no introduction to film fans. His long series of Republic westerns has entrenched him firmly in the hearts of his public, who find that Autry grin, and that pleasant Autry drawl, antidote for almost any kind of tribulation. "Rootin' Tootin' Rhythm," .as the name implies, takes Gene and his pal "Frog" into intriguing adventures in which his mellow tenor hill-billy crooning plays an important part. The two of them are mistaken for bad men, who in turn are mistaken for sheriffs. When the pseudo sheriffs pursue the pseudo bad men, that is when the fun and excitement begins. "Armida." a Mexican sensation, does an excellent job as the villainous ranchman's niece who does her best to keep from falling in love with Gene, thinking he is a cattle rustler, embezzler, baby snatcher, forger, and all-round "bad man."
