WAIKATO'S GOOD SEASON
i After providing for adequate depreciation the sum of £534 Is 9d has been transferred to the accumulated fund account, states the president. IMr F. R. Seddon, in the report of [the Waikato Racing Club to be subimitted to the annual meeting. For the season under review stakes amounted to £15.925. an increase of £975. ! Arrangements had been made with the holders to pay off debentures I amounting to £12,050: The mortgages now stood at £25,570. In this connection the Waikato Hunt Club accepted £1500 in full payment of its debenture of £2000. The thanks of the Racing Club were due to the Hunt Club for its generous assistance. Nominations received for office equal 'the number of vacancies. Those nomiinated are:—President. Mr. F. R. Seddon; vice-president, Mr. A. Miller; committee, Messrs. P. H. Clarkin, A. E. Manning, J. C. Potts, R. T. Reid, ! and H. Rothery.
