EXTENSIVE TESTS
THE THREE SERVICES

ALEXANDRIA, August 18.
Extensive land defence tests werai carried out, the Navy, troops, and R.A.F. co-operating with Egyptian troops. It is reported that they were completely successful.
Large areas were blacked out while warships and R.A.F. planes attempted bombardments of towns and harbours and troops tried unsuccessfully to land.
