HUGE MONOPLANE

CONSTRUCTED SECRETLY

MOSCOW, August. 13,
A six-engined 8000 horse-power monoplane, the future flagship of the Soviet civil air fleet, has completed its final tests.
It was constructed secretly and carries 64 passengers and a crew of eight. It has a flying range of 1180 miles, a loaded weight of 45 tons, a wing span of 206 feet, and a height of 23 feet.
