MOSCOW, August 13

The members of the British and French naval and military missions met the Russian delegation this morning and the consequent staff talks lasted three hours. No statement was issued.

The talks continued for a further three hours, but agaiin no statement was issued.

Police and soldiesrs prevented unauthorised persons approaching the building where the conference is taking place.

Henceforth there will be two meetings daily until the talks are concluded.
