BLOMFIELD BEATS MARTINEZ

AUCKLAND, August 13
A professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall on Saturday evening between Lofty Blomfield and Ignacio Martinez was won by the former by one fall. This was obtained in the sixth round when, following a wild exchange of elbow jolts, during which the referee warned both men, Blomfield tripped his opponent and forced a submission with a step-over toehold.
