SEVERE SHAKE
LARGE AREA IN BULGARIA
SOFIA. August 10.
A scene of terror was witnessed in five towns in central Bulgaria when 800 square miles ol countiT were shaken by a severe earthquake. Walls cracked, chimneys toppled down, and inhabitants rushed into th<? streets panic-stricken.
The towns affected included Plovdiv the second larges* in Bulgaria.
