NELSON PROTEST

NELSON, This Day,
A mass meeting of Nelson public servants, representing sixteen departments, passed a motion emphatically protesting against the imposition by the Public Service Commissioner of the proposed efficiency tests for members of the service. The meeting pledged support to the Public Service Association executive in any action deemed necessary to secure the withdrawal of the tests.
