£343,430,000 BY INDIRECT
TAXATION

RUGBY, August 2,
According to figures given in an answer in the House of Commons today by the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Captain Crookshank, £343,430,000 will be raised in the current financial year by indirect taxation, compared with £240,918,000 in 1931.
