HOARE.—On August 4, 1939, at his residence, 12 Chester Avenue, Weistmere, Auckland, William Josiah, dearly loved husband of Keziah Mary Hoare, and loved father of Bramwell, Howard, and Mrs. B. Wallace, Australia; Will, Wanganui; Mrs. 15. Whale, Wellington; and Maudls, of Auckland. NEWMAN.—On August 3, 1939, at his residence, 5 Ohiro Koad, Wellington, Richard Newman, beloved husband of Sarah Newman ; in his 82nd year. (Present address 160 a Mosham Avenue.) PEDERSEN. —On August 4, 1939, at Wellington, Petter Theodor Pedersen, of 15 Toru Street, Lyall Bay; aged 79 years. THOMSON.—On August 3, 1939, at Otaki, Robert Alexander, Regimental Xo. 7-1295; in his 51st year.
