(Special to the Evening Post.")

PALMERSTON N., This Day,

Tidewaiter (W. Jenkins) was galloped' a mile. He maintained an even pace throughout and was not under pressure at the finish, completing his task smoothly in lmin 51 2-ssec.

Aurora's Star (W. J. Broughton) worked well over seven furlongs, and she galloped as though the race of last; Saturday had improved her. Broughton will ride her at Riccarton.
