DUNEDIN, This Day.
The increased petrol tax promises to produce chaotic conditions in the city. Taxi business proprietors have petitioned the council for transport control such as exists in Christchurch, Hamilton, and other to-wns. It is considered that a small increase in fares is inevitable.
