BRIDGE PLAYERS' PLANE
Patriotic Parisian bridge players have been asked to contribute 10 per cent, of their winnings to an aeroplane that the French Bridge Federation proposes to give for national defence. The plane has been tentatively christened the "Ace of Hearts" and the subscription has been opened by an appeal to all bridge players not only to set aside a minimum of .10 per cent, of their winnings towards the purchase of the plane but also to organise special tournaments to help to raise the fund.
