Mr. J. C. Thompson, organist at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Hawera, has been appointed organist and choirmaster at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. John Emmett, who held the positions of choirmaster and organist, have left for Palmerston.North, where they are taking, up the same duties at St. Andrew's.

Mills, field superintendent of the Sudan United Mission, and Mrs. Mills, who have been spending a short furlough with relatives at Takapuna, will leave Auckland by the Monterey tomorrow on their •way back to Abri, in the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan.
