HEAVY SNOW IN OTAGO

DUNEDIN, This Day,
Hail showers continue and all the roads in Otago are under snow to a greater or less extent. Little in the way of a thaw is expected, as fresh snow is falling on the frozen surfaces.
In some parts of the back country snow is lying to a depth of about fifteen inches.
