LONDON, July 15

The Premier, M. Daladier, has personally taken charge of the investigations in France into Nazi propaganda under the espionage laws. In an oflieial statement today he assured the country thai the purge will be pursued without consideration for anyone.

"We are also resolved to prevent the Government's action becoming a matter of polemics,*' he added. The publishing of information relating lo the investigation will henceforth be punishable unless sanctioned by the authorities. *

The Premier's statement adds that those arrested admit that they received large sums from agents of foreign Powers.

The Paris correspondent of ' the British United Press says that Robert Brasillach, editor, and Pierre Gaxotte, assistant editor of the weekly journal "Je Suis Partout" are suing a Paris wireless firm and several newspapers for £2220 damages for announcing their arrest in connection with Nazi spy activities. Both deny receiving any payments.
