KARORI I V. HUIA 111

Karori I were much too good for Huia 111 in the match between the teams at Karori Park, the former combination winning by S goals to 4. The scoring for Huia was opened by T. Dentice from a movement started by Plunkctt. Edwards and Browne, however, got to work for Karori, each in turn scoring as the result of their team work. Roberts seized his opportunity in a scramble to put tlie ball in the net, but Dentice added another for Huia almost immediately afterwards. A beautiful solo run by Edwards resulted in a score, and later a, penalty goal was awarded Karori as the result of an infringement by a Huia man while taking a penalty bully. Before the match ended Edwards added ono and Browne two more for Karori. Martin scored for Huia, who were also awarded a penalty goal, making the final score: Karori I S, Huia 111 4. The umpires were Messrs. H. Hatch and D. Woodflcld.
