SHORTAGE OF EGGS
Dominion Distributors, Ltd., reports on the local egg market as follows:— The shortage of eggs continues, although an improvement in supplies may be expected this week. The wholesale prices for eggs on the Wellington market today were unchanged on those of last week, as follows: — Specials, 2s 7d per dozen; A grade, 2s sd; B grade, 2s 3d; ducks, 2s sd. Dominion Distributors' pay-out for last week's eggs will be: —Specials, 2s 7d a dozen; A grade, 2s sd; B grade, 2s 3d; ducks, 2s sd.
