ALL-AMERICAN REVUE
Comedy, music, and dancing are the mainstays of the very bright show "Funz-a-Poppin 1," the All-American revue at the Opera House. It is an all-star company with twelve main acts, tied together with interludes that in their way are just as bright and breezy as the headliners. Bobby Morris, of "Hollywood Hotel" reputation, is a comedian among comedians, versatile and clever in all his work. Harry Ross and Eddie Edwards run him closely, and Tommy Snyder's pantomime comedy is excellent. "The Peace Conference," with Ross as Hitler and Keith Connolly as Chamberlain,. puts international politics in a happier light indeed. Salici's Parisian puppets are a delightful show in themselves. America has lately taken up the revival of the puppet show and Salici is one of the real leaders in this quaint a*nd clever form of entertainment. The Can* Brothers, foot-and-head balancers. Miss Elsa Lang, mezzo-soprano. Jack Bickle. contortionist dancer. Murray Green, vocalist, the Van Twins, and the finished ballet dancing are other high lights of a very good show. Joseph Clauser and his orchestra add to the enjoyment of the revue.
"Funz-a-Poppin*" will be presented again tonight. Xhe second edition will be presented next Wednesday.
