LONDON, July 13.
Liverpool wheat futures for July delivery touched 3s 7 7-8 d a cental, the lowest price since 1592.
The cause of the slump, to which it is necessary to go back centuries to find a parallel, was a decline on the American markets, coupled with favourable weather reports. The Liverpool wheat market rallied and closed at 3s B|d.
