"WAR'S BIGGEST LIE"

LONDON, July 13, The Hong Kong correspondent the "Daily Express" says:—
"The biggest lie of the war was told in Hankow by a Japanese-owned newspaper in which it was asserted that Bri tain had handed over Hong Kong to the Japanese amid tumultuous Chinese rejoicing.
"A torrent of anti-jSritish propaganda is sweeping South China. In the Japanese-controlled Press it is variously asserted that the Chinese are fleeing from Hong Kong because of British brutality and British poisoning of Hong Kong reservoirs."
