THREE FILIPINOS SHOT DEAD

MANILA, July 12.

Three prominent Filipinos were shot dead as a result of a long-standing feud between sugar-mill operators and planters. The dead are Jose Deleon, the world's wealthiest Filipino and a leading sugar operator, his associate, Augusto Gonzales, and Julian Olivas captain of the State Constabulary.

The police are searching for two planters.
