Levin and Company, Ltd.. have received the following cable irom their London agents, dated July 13, giving North Island frozen meat quotations as follows:—Down lambs, 28/361b 73d per lb, 36/421b 6 7-8 d; crossbred lambs, 28/361b 7 3-Bd. 36/421b 6 7-8 d; second quality lambs, average 30/311b 7d; wether sheep, under 481 bsd, 48/561b 4-J-d, 56/641b 4 l-Bd, 64/721b 3fd; ewes, under 481b 3:? d, 48/561b 3 3-Bd, 56/641b 3d. 64/721b 2?d; N. w Zealand prime ox beef, none offering. Compared with last week's quotations, down lamb 28/36 lb and crossbred lamb 36/421b l-8d per 1b higher; wethers under 481b and 56/72 lb l-Bcl per lb higher: others unchanged. The market continues to be firm.

The wheat market ■is • steady but quiet. Silo grain is 2s 4i;d a bushel, and bagged 2s 7d: Hour £1? Los a ton: bran and pollard. £4 ss. Potatoes. Tasmanian. £15 to £17 a ton; others, £15 10s; onions. Egyptian brown £27. Victorian brown £22 10s; maize, yellow 4s a bushel, white 4s 2d.
