NEW AERODROME
TOMORROW'S DEMONSTRA-
TION
"In connection with the demonstration of massed modern machinery which I have arranged at the Paraparaumu aerodrome tomorrow at 2 p.:..., and to which a cordial invitation is extended to members of the general public interested in the class of work done by this machinery- I would like to draw attention to the Railway Department's announcement that two rail-cars, accommodating some 60 passengers each, will be run to Paraparaumu. departing from Wellington at 11.50 a.m., and .leaving on the return .}ourn,ey at 4.10 p.m., occupying approximately one hour en route," stated the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. R. Semple) today in an interview.
"This, together with transport to and from the aerodrome, which would be available at Paraparaumu. would permit of those people not being so fortunate as to be able to proceed to and from the demonstration by motorcar to have the opportunity of witness:ng it. As, however the accommodation on the rai]-cai's is limited, intending passengers will be well advised to be at the Railway Station early to obtain seats."
Mr Semple stated further that traffic inspectors would be on duty to direct the ti-affic, but as cars would not be able to be parked on the aerodrome itself, car drivers would have to exercise great care in the vicinity -< the demonstration.
