POSITION IN BRITAIN

(Received July 13, 2 p.m.)

LONDON, July 12.

In the House of Lords, Lord Templemore stated that now there is no shortage of rifles and machine-guns. The Government was not aware of a markedly abnormal increase in sales of raw materials for armament purposes to Germany and Japan.
